The structure of the ducting network is decisive for the proper cleaning of a ventilation system. The diameters and lengths of the various ducts determine the type of MOBBIT to be used. MOBBIT system components are available in different sizes to meet everyone’s needs.
The MOBBIT ‘mops’ ventilation ducts clean with a mixture of water and detergent. The device, a ball-shaped volume with synthetic extensions or bumps, does not use brushes or circular movements, and therefore will not damage ducts. Thanks to its unique and intelligent structure, MOBBIT is able to clean different diameter duct systems. Continuous contact between the MOBBIT and the duct wall ensures that the entire wall surface is thoroughly cleaned.
A rope is pulled into the ducting network using a traditional vacuum cleaner. This rope is attached to the MOBBIT soaked in water and detergent. The MOBBIT is repeatedly pulled through the pipe until return water from the MOBBIT is clear and the dirt is gone.
The cleaning is done between existing air inlets/outlets. Thus inspection hatches are no longer necessary and disassembling the components of the ducting network are a thing of the past.
The MOBBIT sleeve is made of a bi-component microfibre with a super-cleaning surface that results in a powerful capillary effect.
